Dice il giornalista Andrea Bonanni su Repubblica che è sbagliato l'aver chiesto, come ho fatto io, che i ministri italiani chiamati all'estero per una riunione importante siano messi in condizione di parlare in italiano e di ottenere una simultanea italiana degli interventi e delle conversazioni. Ma che figura! Ma che vergogna! Gente che non parla le lingue non dovrebbe rappresentarci fuori dall'Italia! E allora replico: capisco e parlo il francese. Ma non è questo il punto. Io ho fatto solo rispettare una direttiva del nostro consiglio dei ministri del 2006 in cui abbiamo chiesto che vengano "evitate gerarchie linguistiche", e di conseguenza culturali.
